A short trip to Batam - Part 1

I could not believe that I have to wake up at 5.15 to take the first ferry out from Singapore to Batam.

Apparently, there are a lot of people taking MRT at that hour. Zzzz.

And guess what, we arrived too early and most of the things are still closed. Lazy town! Tips: Don't take the first ferry next time. The 9.40 ferry should be just nice since there is one-hour time difference between Singapore and Batam.

And the taxi driver cheated us by saying Nagoya Hill has opened at 9.00 am.

Don't feel like getting around aimlessly, so we chose to wait until Eska opens at 10.00 am. Fyi, Eska is a place where you can have your massage, aromatherapy, manicure and pedicure. Apparently the store is quite famous with Singaporean. Hmm.

See, not a single soul sighted at Nagoya Hill.

After checking out the surroundings around Nagoya Hill, we noticed a small bakery stall called Morning Bakery (which supposed to exist in Jakarta too, although I never notice one near my place).

I feel like having cake in the morning. HeeHeeHee.

C had to order Lontong Sayur due to her mistake. =P

Anyway, we helped her finish it off. Taste so-so I guess. But it's damn cheap since it's in Rupiah.
