I had a craving for chicken cutlet at Xinwang Taiwan Cafe but it turns out that they have closed their restaurant at City Link!! (Loud wailing)
Oh well, looks like we have to find another place to have our lunch. C remembered that she spotted some new eating places near Chic King. So we checked it out and found a place called Rock & Ash.
Luckily, we don't have to eat rock and ash cuz of course they are not edible. (Har..Har..trying to be funny, eh?)
Mayo & Chilli Fries (S$3.90) - turns out to be normal fries with mayo and chilli sauce.
Spicy chicken drumlet (S$7.90) - C loves them. But I don't think the portion is filling.
Emperor Chicken Cutlet (S$8.90) - It's kinda oily but I was hungry so...I pretended I didn't notice and gulped them all.
I never thought I have to walk so damn far after lunch. As a matter of fact, these refreshing bubble teas were not our first bubble tea of the day. I have broken my own rule of NOT having TWO bubble teas in the same day! Oh gosh....
I ordered plum green tea with white pearl. Quite refreshing although I still prefer my favourite Honey Milk Tea.
C was bold enough to order something new with a huge expectation. But the purple plum tea's taste is kinda...weird (or unique). It's not sweet at all. I would be as frustrated as her if I ordered the same thing. LOL.
Can't believe I still managed to stuff myself with rice for dinner. This tori tamago onigiri tastes better when eaten with...PRINGLES!
I stand corrected - everything taste better when eaten with Pringles...LOL. (well, maybe not candies).
