Favourite words to apply in office: "Nothing is personal."
In reality, it's bloody hard to apply that motto. Especially after the drama with the cab this morning. Yea, that stupid CityCab system cancel my booking abruptly which of course made me have to walk to the nearest taxi stand and thus, late at work.
And to add salt to my wound, I didn't manage to slip by from office early for lunch (damn!). Normally, I would manage to slip by unnoticed. I guess that's the con of going for lunch with someone else. It's a lot easier to slip by unnoticed when you're alone.
My AM gave me a bit of 'advice' which of course I already know inside out. Here comes my acting part saying "OK..OK..OK.." Gee. It's kinda pissed me off but I could not really show that, rite? Oh well. Some people are just so serious but I guess we do need that kind of people?
Anyway, busy working hours at office made me want to rant and coincidentally, my friend C, was also furious (if not more) at her office. So we decided to meet up for a bit of bitching session. =P
We have walked a fair share before we took a rest at Sour Sally. But yogurt doesn't really fill me up. In fact, I wanted to eat something salty after that (this is not a good side-effect, Sour Sally!). So we took our place at Cedele.
Yummy potato wedges. It reminded of our session at TCC together with our married friend who already moved out to US. Tastes better than TCC thou. Priced at S$9.00 (there goes my budgeted dinner).
