Gloomy Sunday

It has been raining for the whole day and it certainly doesn't my low mood. Yeah, I am kinda having a lost moment in my life. I don't know which way I'm supposed to go. Oh well, it's useless to just linger around doing anything though. Maybe I should just kick myself to try something out?

Eating alone?

I have been living alone for the past few years and honestly, eating alone at restaurant still makes me self-conscious sometimes. The only problem with eating alone (at least for me) is that I am easily bored. I always enjoy having a meal inside a restaurant with my friends because I will converse in a fun chit chat for the whole course of the meal. And when I have nobody to talk to, I am bored. And that's when the self-consciousness kicked in.

Anyway, it gets easier over time. I guess the solution for me (if I really have to eat out alone) is to choose the location perfectly. Of course, you will surely become self-conscious if the restaurant is the family-dine-in type or worse, the romantic-dating-type. I do love eating alone in a place like Cedele. And I know my friend can eat alone in place like Sakae Sushi. (Heck, she even went clubbing alone once at Pump Room!)

Well, in these days, I know you won't get bored if you have your I-Phone. LOL.

But, my most favourite eating-alone place is definitely in front of my laptop. Not a healthy eating habit I know.

A warm dinner @ Ajino Champon

I was super hungry after watching Green Hornet and determined at the same time to finally walk into Tokyo Walker at Plaza Singapura. So we decided to have some 'champon' at Ajino Champon. The S$13.80 - S$17.80 set meal comes with a drink, a side dish and a champon.

Fried Prawn

Houji Cha

Ajino Champon
I was kinda curious of what Champon really means so I google it.

"Champon is made by frying pork, seafood and vegetables with lard; a soup made with chicken and pig bones is added. A ramen noodle made especially for champon is added and then boiled. Unlike other ramen dishes, only one pan is needed as the noodle is boiled in the soup." (Source: Wikipedia)

So can I say that champon is a healthier version of ramen?

Ran out of storage space...

I can't believe I was able to utilize full storage space on my previous blog.

I never get hooked to blog writing before. Oh well. I guess I can only open a new blog to write my overflowing memories in life (I know that sounds super cheesy).

Anyway, now the title is kinda accurate. I don't know why the title in my previous blog was in Chinese. LOL.
