Afternoon trip to Bonheur Patisseries

I'm so happy because I managed to psycho up my colleagues to eat prawn noodle and carrot cake. Why? Cuz it tastes good and it only costs me S$5. (Money kinda tight)

And then my colleague asked her to accompany her to buy cakes at Bonheur Patisseries (which I never heard before). It's apparently located at Duxton Road. Quite near to Flor, which is another patisserie shop.

Strawberry Balsamic

Chocolate Hazelnut

It's a treat from my colleague! Yay! Double happiness. Love it! ^^

Fyi, the prices here are cheaper than Kki (around S$6.50 - S$7.50). I like the taste but I may not be the most accurate person to give review on cakes because generally, all cakes taste nice to me. (Talk about having sweet-tooth). My colleague prefer Kki though.

If you wanna pop by, go visit them at 70 Duxton Road.

Nothing much happened since the last vacation

I just came back from Bali and yeap, I did enjoy my time there.

Since I've uploaded all my pictures (well, ok, not all, I didn't share the pictures with shameful or weird poses of course!) to FB, I lost the motivation to share it here. Ahem.

Anyway, it's been a long time since I:

1. eat something different in Singapore; and
2. buy something.

But all ends today. Hmm, actually it ended tomorrow when I decided to enter Topshop. But I forgot to take the pic of my haul. Oh well.

Here is today's haul from Esprit. 50% discount! Who can't resist that kind of offer?? (I don't reject 70% but it's not yet there and I'm scared my size will be no longer available if I wait too long).

Tadaa! Thursday happy shopping.

I've been eye-ing this since last weekend but the item was not yet on 50% discount that time. Lucky I wait! =)

I bought the top mainly because of the colour. Lovely colour.

Today marks the end of the spell of going-back-home-empty-handed! LOL. (Yes wallet, you can start crying)

Will post the picture of my new Topshop paper-bag skirt another time. I really need to build my confidence wearing it cuz I am not the skinny type. It's all about confidence! Yosh!

BBQ Riverside Indonesian Food

Actually I don't really know why they make it sounds like it's a local Indonesian food. I am Indonesian and honestly, the first time I eat this was in Singapore instead of Indonesia. Haha.

Does that make this food some kind of fusion or something?

One thing that I can say for sure - this meal will make you SUPER FULL!

And the good side is the grilled fish set above only costs you S$5.50..hehehe.

Fyi, the stall is located at Plaza Singapura's Kopitiam but I believe they have quite a number of branches all around Singapore.

And now I present you the most common food that you will find in this tiny island : Taa-Daa!

It's called MIXED RICE. Hahahaha.

My local colleagues often complains if they have to eat this at lunch time. I guess it's because this food is similar to their's mom cook which means they have to eat it again for dinner. Total boredom for them! LOL.

Hmm, me? I don't mind eating this food. And who says it is cheap???

The simple meal above cost me S$4.60 (probably because I bought it from Food Junction @ Raffles City). T_T.

Taste wise? Depends on the location and the stall I guess. Luckily, the above combination was pretty good. Or maybe I was too hungry.

Sweet Tooth...^^

Been eating a lot of desserts these past few days.

Walnut Rocky Road @ Swensen's (S$14.50) - Never disappointing...=)

There's an OUAM (Once Upon A Milshake) stall at Raffles Place Link. And during lunch time, they slash the ice cream price from S$2.90 to S$2.00 (not much, I know).

I had the Rum & Raisin which I love so much. Y had the chocolate ice cream (I forgot what is the name that they put for it..=P).

Sweet food always completes my meal. =D

One for One! Yippie!

I wanted to go to my Body Combat class as usual but it turns out my fave instructor was not in today. T_T.

Well, change of plan - go to Body Jam class instead. Heeheehee.

So since I was at Plaza Singapura this afternoon, I decided to buy wanton noodle from Pontian Wanton Noodle at Kopitiam (S$3.50). Niceeee....

I watched Fast and Furious 5 in Grand Cathay with C and the movie is really amazing! It wow-ed me!

As usual, we got hungry after being too-excited (what a glutton), and since I have the one-for-one coupon for Swensen's @ Centrepoint (yep, they open a new branch there at level 2, near to M&S), I kinda forced C to go there. (Cheapo?)

I have Fish & Chips (S$14.50). Not bad. Fish & Chips should not be wrong!

C has the Swensen's Combo (S$16.20). I think she was hungrier than me. LOL. But she said the taste was so-so.

We closed off our Saturday by chillin' out at McD due to budget constraint. Good for me, I could try Blackforest McFlurry. Hmmm...I still prefer the original Oreo McFlurry. Hahaha.

Nice dinner at Saizeriya Liang Court

Friday night dinner with S tonight as she's going to have a meditation  seclusion inside her house during Saturday and Sunday to work (or maybe watch Korean drama..IDK).

Bored with our usual meeting place i.e. Orchard/Somerset/Dhoby Ghaut. I decided to take her to Liang Court and tried something different.

Hence, we went to Saizeriya (partly due to the friendly pricing).

This salad looks kinda sad. It's because it's part of the S$3.90 top up (salad + bottomless drink). They do have a nice spread of drink choices such as lemon tea, orange juice, milo, tea, coffee, sodas.

I've been eye-ing this Hamburger (S$6.50). I chose the mushroom topping. Taste yummy! ^^

S chose to have Hamburger too. But she wanted cheese topping. Nice too. But priced a bit higher than mine at S$7.50.

So tempted to take a picture of Clarke Quay when I have camera. I love walking around there. Dunno why.

New Look hauls...^^

I think I need a rehab for my addiction to shopping. LOL.

Went to New Look outlet at ION and found a lot of cute accessories on sale.

I went bonkers.

Swallow chain drop @ S$3.90 (initially from S$13.90)

Cross Drop Earring S$3.90 (from S$6.90)

Flower ring @ S$9.90 (this item is not on sale, but I fell in love at the first sight..hehehehe).

Flower Pave Necklace @ S$3.90 (from S$13.90)

And my initial plan was to buy a concealer not accessories. LOL.

So easily distracted.
